Peak District Nine Edges Challenge – One day

Combine a cream tea with a challenging & stunning Peak District walk? 

Experience a local Sheffield ale in the home of the Full Monty or three lions? This is a genuine experience combined with the beauty of the peak district that is hard to forget. Gritstone edges, vivid purple heather and amazing skies all await you. We cater for groups of up to 25 people, 1 guide per 8 challengers. We can arrange an extra climbing experience on one or more of the edges on request.

9 Edges Peak challenge over a day

We start at Fairholmes visitor centre by Ladybower Reservoir and finish at the Robin Hood pub in Baslow. We start at 8am at the visitor centre where you will meet your guide and take it from there. You can see from the distance that this is a serious challenge. Even walking at an average of 3-4km per hour it could take 10 – 12 hours. For this reason we only run the one day challenge in June, July, August and October.

9 edges Peak challenge over a weekend

We also offer a weekend option so that you can admire the scenery at a more leisurely pace providing 2 nights of accommodation on the Friday and Saturday nights and Breakfast each day.
