Booking your place is easy!
For Invividuals and groups of friends
All we need from you is an initial £150 deposit per person to reserve your place, then you’re on your way. The final balance isn’t due until 90 days before the holiday takes place. Once your deposit has been paid there is a guaranteed no price change. There are no hidden charges or extras. The price we quote you when you book is the price you and your group will be paying. Just call or contact us if you are unsure of anything. The website will invite you to pay the £150 deposit and we will invite you to pay the rest later.
Ways to pay for individuals and groups of friends:
  • Online via our website and we use stripe
  • By making a bank transfer and completing the onine booking form or one that we send you.
  • Via paypal if you live in the Americas.
  • By calling us and using a card payment machine (coming soon)
  • By UK cheque if we are meeting your organisation

Step One 

Contact us to check availability by emailing us at anne@freedomtrailtreks.com or enquiring on our contact form.

Step Two

When availability has been confirmed, book online on the advertised dates or complete the contact form and you will be sent a booking form with your preferred dates for each member of your party.  If your trip is listed in our dates on the website and we have said it is available you will be able to book on and pay a deposit of £150. If your dates are not on the site you will receive information on payment options and how we will proceed on your selected dates for your group. During this process you will be asked to confirm that you have read our terms and conditions. 

Step Three

Arrange payment of a £150 non-refundable deposit per person within 5 days of sending in your booking form or as part of the online booking process via stripe. Online you will be able to select your agreed dates. Non web bookings should be done by bank transfer (unless otherwise arranged and we will send you these details on request for Spa Adventure Treks Ltd.)
Print screen your reservation confirmation once you have paid your deposit of £150. This will show that your payment is in progress until full payment is made by you. The remaining amount to pay will also be shown which is due 90 days before your trip. We will be notified when you have paid your deposit and will not receive the payment until 7-10 days later via stripe.
In the case of trips over £1,000 we will need a larger deposit and that will be advertised on the website.

Step Four

When we have your form and deposit (or online booking) we’ll send you your receipt & confirmation details and final invoice (this may take up to 7 days). In addition you will receive your full holiday itinerary, including an equipment list.

Step Five

Once you have this confirmation and information it allows you to make your travel arrangements. Top Tip: If you arrange insurance when you book you can also have cover in case of cancellation due to injury during your training for the trip.

Step Six

We will contact you 12 weeks, 3 months prior to your holiday with a reminder for your final payment. If you are booking in less time before the scheduled trip we may ask you to pay in full.

Step Seven

We will contact you the week before your holiday, with final joining instructions.

NB You must organise adequate Insurance cover for the activities you are undertaking. An EHIC card is essential, if you don’t already have one (European residents only). For more information, please read our Insurance section. Unfortunately, you will not be able to participate in your chosen activity without proof of holiday insurance.

Compliance with the “Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992”
In accordance with “The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations1992” all passengers booking with Spa Adventure Treks Ltd are fully protected for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies paid to us, including repatriation if required, arising from cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Spa Adventure Treks Ltd
There is no requirement for Financial Protection of day trips, and none is provided.  This insurance is only valid for packages booked that DO NOT include flights.
Consumer aware: Your booking is insured by IPP Ltd and its panel of insurers. – This insurance is only valid for passengers who book and pay directly with/to Spa Adventure Treks Ltd.  If you have booked and/ or paid direct to a Travel Agent for a holiday with Spa Adventure Treks Ltd please request proof of how the booking is secured as this will not be covered by IPP Ltd in this instance.
This Insurance has been arranged by International Passenger Protection Limited and underwritten by Certain underwriters at Lloyd’s. For further information please go to www.ipplondon.co.uk
Our membership of IPP Ltd is not a substitute for your own holiday insurance which should be appropriate to the activity that you have chosen. It enables Spa Adventure treks Ltd to comply with the “The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992”.
