Adventure Challenges

We use our experience from many different extreme situations to expand the horizons of your organisation in an efficient and exciting way that delivers results!
Fundraising together:
Is there a cause or charity that some of your colleagues would like to fund raise for? We are here to help and our Freedom Trail Treks provide the ideal platform to do this, following in the footsteps of escapees on a tough challenge.
Our challenges are flexible and are tailored and designed to your group’s specifications. All sorts of different backgrounds and organisations have benefited from our challenges to bespoke team building.
Here are some scenarios we can assist with:
  • Helping managers to adapt to the challenges of a new role or promotion and get to know their new team
  • Helping team members see a different side of colleagues and discover new strengths!
  • Developing people skills and appreciating others in a challenging situation
  • Helping employees to develop and realise their potential leadership skills for the next level
  • Assisting a new group of employees to become an effective team
Groups
We welcome groups celebrating events on our treks and activities. Organising champagne, a special surprise or gift is part of what we offer so please do let us know what you need. Hen and stag do’s welcome. Our director is very experienced with groups of young people having worked with Chesterfield youth service on residential and also coached the British junior climbing team. You can be assured she will be taking the greatest attention to detail in planning. Youth groups must be accompanied by parents or teachers.
Families
Many of our adventures have been an enormous amount of fun due to the families we have had on treks and in climbing sessions. We cater for family size groups in addition to larger groups and individual bookings.

Yorkshire 3 peaks
A big walk where we attempt the three highest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales.  The walk is approximately 23 miles in length with an elevation gain of over 1000m. Starting at Horton in Ribblesdale, the walk takes you on a superb circular of the hills. It is always fulfilling and can also be done as a trail run! Some people aim to complete this challenging trip in 12 hours so the choice is yours.
Full Day Team Challenge

A brilliant way to get the most out of your instructors and the activities available, you will arrive and have a discussion on team and individual goals and your instructor will facilitate a tailored session. The day will consist of team challenges as well as an activity of your choice. Each part of the day will contain a reviewing aspect to maximise the level of transfer for your group.
Expeditions & Adventure Travel
  • Epic
  • Cultural
  • Classic
We love expeditions and have incorporated the countries we have the most experience of and love the best and feel confident you will also be inspired by our selection. This programme  preparation will be based in a mountainous environment in the UK or abroad. The responsibility of the group’s success on the expedition will rely on the group’s ability to work as a team. Your group will be responsible for the expedition under the watchful eyes of an experienced International Mountain Leader in the UK but in more remote locations we will be in charge of all the logistics but welcome your input and look to satisfy your aims in our classic, cultural or epic location.
For UK expeditions responsibilities could include: route planning, camping, cooking, navigation, team management and logistics. Your team may also be raising money for a cause close to their hearts.
Our goal is to create a shared platform from which the team or company can build in the future. Take a look at our exciting destinations and you’ll see why they are perfect playgrounds for our unique experiences.
