Begin your journey by being picked up from Toulouse airport and reach a charming Hotel the Grand Balcon 4*. Indulge in a night of luxury at this 4 star hotel and have a good rest before being picked up the following morning and transported to the next location, where adventure awaits.

Travel from Toulouse to Grau Roig, Andorra. Embark on a picturesque journey through the Pessons Frozen Lakes, where nature's splendour unfolds at every turn. Our route meanders through a majestic mountain pine forest before ascending across a scenic ski slope. Marvel at the pristine beauty of Estany de Primer, our first lake stop, where a delightful mountain restaurant awaits. We then traverse granite boulders and verdant pine forests, ascending towards the breathtaking cirque de Pessons, home to several stunning lakes, before returning to the tranquil enclave of Grau Roig. We will then transfer you to your hotel or arrange you to pick up the local bus.

Venture into the untouched wilderness of Val d'Incles, a haven of natural beauty punctuated by quaint Bordas (local barns). This valley holds historical significance as a vital passage for the French Resistance during World War II. Join our knowledgeable local guide as we trace the footsteps of wildlife, from hares and foxes to pine martens, amidst the pristine snow. 

For the daring, extend your journey to the panoramic Cabane Sorda and its tranquil lake, or ascend towards the majestic Porte de Fontargente (Incles) and the French border, weather permitting.

Embark on an enchanting journey to Val de Rialb, a hidden gem nestled above La Massana and Ordino. Our adventure begins with a scenic transfer to El Serrat, followed by a leisurely ascent through verdant woodlands to reveal a remote valley adorned with a glistening stream. Reach the refuge de Rialb 1990m. 

Level 2 Choose to continue your ascent, passing by the historic refuge de Rialb, and reach a picturesque "port de Siguer" 2396 m, bordering France, or opt for a scenic loop, depending on snow conditions. This takes another hour to reach.

Delve into the area's rich history, marked by daring escapes from France to Andorra, with an optional visit to a nearby refugee museum.

Accommodation: Hotel Màgic La Massana 4*

Level 1 Start hiking from the accommodation and enter Sorteny Valley Natural Park, which was declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2020. The valley is famous for nearly 300 species of flowers and trees. Continue uphill through aspen and birch forests to Estany de l’Estanyó, an alpine lake at 2,350m. On the way back, it is worth stopping at Sorteny Hut for a meal or drink on their terrace. Descend back the same way to the accommodation.

Level 2 The hike can be extended to Pic de l’Estanyó (2,925m), via Estany de l'Estanyo, one of seven mountains in Andorra exceeding 2,900m and with spectacular views (14km, +1,300m -1,300m).
